Welcome to Bay Blokart Club

The club was formed in 2003 and incorporated in 2005 by 17 enthusiastic blokart sailors, seven of whom remain members in 2023. Initially the club was based at the manufacturing base of Blokart International Limited in Parton Road, Papamoa, and moved to the Baypark location in 2019 when BIL moved to new premises in Mt Maunganui.

Our club is for all who sail blokarts (fun, fast, compact land yachts). Our club track is at Mercury Baypark Stadium, Truman Lane, Mt Maunganui which has an ideal sealed surface. Follow the perimeter road around the complex - we are based in the carpark by the containers.

All are welcome, beginners to experts. Even if you don’t own a blokart you can hire one from BayStation and sail with us on our casual days. 

Generally we have sailing on Sunday afternoons when the wind is suitable. During daylight savings we also get together on Wednesday afternoons for casual sailing.
