2026 Summer Series. Congratulations to Dave Pearson for taking out first place with 27 wins out of 59 races. Graham Ingall in second place by turning up each month, while Graeme Bertram did well to hold third place despite missing two days of racing.
May 10th 2026 Summer Series Day 5. 10 sailors had a blast in winds averaging 15 knots and gusting to 25 S. Theo and Peter S survived on 5.5m sails with the rest hanging on with 4.0m. Racing finished after 10 races as it became too dangerous to continue.
April 26th 2026 Summer Series Day 4. Good wind before racing then it dropped. After about 30 minutes it slowly built but was anywhere from S to NW depending where you were on the track. Nine races completed.
March 8th 2026 Summer Series Day 3. Wind changed from 5 knots N to 3 knot S during the first dial up and was fickle the remainder of the day. Managed 10 races in light to sailable winds.
February 8th 2026 Summer Series Day 2. Fluctuating S breeze 5-12 knots straight down the track. Temp 30 degrees. Very light patches at the southern end, 14 races completed but a few dropped out along the way.
January 11th 2026 Summer Series Day 1. Steady breeze across the track. 9 sailors sweltered in 32 degrees. Course was top, bottom, and middle marks to force a range of tactics.
June 29th 2025 Winter Series Day 2. 15 entrants including new memberChris who did very well. Welcome back to Craig and Barry after a few years without racing. The forecast W 10-12 knots turned out as WSW 4-10 knots which was mostly sailable. Races were run in two heats and 6 rounds were completed
May 25th 2025 Winter Series Day 1. 9 entrants. 6 frustrating races completed in 3-7 knots NE. Two races reduced to 2 laps.
March 9th 2025 Summer Series Day 2. 7 entrants. 14 races completed in S to NE winds of 5-15 knots - very tricky. First race everybody was DSQ for either missing the mark or the start line. Several spinouts. One gust picked up Alex's kart and deposited him upright (luckily) in the muddy creek. New name required - how about "Flounder". Best day's sailing for years.
January 12th 2025 Summer Series Day 1. 10 entrants. 13 races completed in NE 7-10 knots.
Sept 21 2024 BOP Invitation (in lieu of BOPO). Wind S-SW 8-12 knots and sunny all day. Completed 20 races for the 8 sailors. Nice bbq lunch.
Sept 15th 2024 club day. Wind 9-11 knots S. Completed 15 races with 6 sailors winning races.
August 18th 2024 club day. Wind SW 12-20 knots but slowly dropped to 4-5 knots. Packed up early just as torrential rain began.
June 9 2024 Club Day. Wind was very light NE, 6 races completed. 11 Sailors.
